Job search allows you to filter your search by specific criteria. You can filter your search by Job area, Job type, Country, City, and by keywords.
Popular searches show you that now common keywords used when searching on joboAfrika.com.

Register
Please make sure you select your account type. If you are looking to apply for jobs then select 'Apply for Jobs'. If you are an employer and are looking to post jobs and find candidates then please select 'Post Jobs'.
Registering a 'Post Jobs' account will give you access to 50 free jobs and will allow you to buy premium jobs for just US$ 10. You can only register one 'Post Jobs' account per person.

My Account
In My Account you can edit your account details. When editing your details please make sure you complete all fields with a * .

My Jobs
This page displays all the live jobs you have on joboAfrika.com. You can edit your existing jobs from here, view applications to the jobs, delete the jobs, and add new jobs.
To edit a job just click on the Job title which will then take you into the job details section. Here you can update the details of the job and if it is a free job you can upgrade it to a premium job for only US$ 10. You can also upgrade your free job to a premium job on the My jobs page by clicking the 'Upgrade advert' button.
To view the applications a job has received just click on the number in the 'Applied' column.
To delete a job you just need to click on the red X in the delete column.
If you would like to add a new job simply click on the 'Add new job' button in the 'Summary of live jobs' or click on the on 'New job' tab.

Applications
Click on the applicants name to see their details, including their cover letter, email address, cell phone number, and location, and to be able to download their CV.
You can also change their status to make it easier for you to filter through candidates at a later stage.

Add a Job
Premium Job:
Optional Information:
In this section you can enter the website address of your company so candidates can have a look at the company and get some more information about the company they are applying to.
You can also add a logo of your company or the company you are recruiting for which will display on the search results listings and on the job description. The logo has to be 100px x 75px and needs to be in gif or jpg format.
If you want applications for the job to go to an external site, for example if you have a application form online that you want candidates to fill in, then tick the 'Handle applications externally' and enter the URL of the website where you want the candidates to be directed to. Please make sure you enter the full URL including http://
Essential information:
Enter the email address you wish to receive the application notification emails to.
Job details:
Select what day you want the job to go live on. Your job will be on the site for 30 days.
Give the job an appropriate job title i.e. IT Project Manager.
You can select not to display your company name on the job description by ticking the 'Don't show my company name' box.
When selecting the location of your job the page with refresh, this will load the list of cities for that country and will allow you to select one.
Job Area:
Since you are posting a premium job you can select up to two job areas and job types. First select the Job area; you can select one area in each of the dropdowns, then click on go and it will load up the appropriate Job type. You can select one job type for each Job area i.e. Accountancy – Accounts Admin and Manufacturing – Health and Safety.
Note: you do not have to select two job areas and job types but it is mandatory to select one job area and one job type.
Job summary:
Job summary is what will display when a candidate does a job search. You should use this space to write a brief description to promote the job. Candidates will see the full job description once they click on the job. If you do not enter a job summary, the first 100 characters of the job description will be used as the job summary.
Adding the job:
Once you have filled out all of the information for the job then click on 'Pay and Add job'. You will be taken through to WorldPay where you will pay for the job advert. Once the payment is complete the job will be ready to go onto joboafrike.com.
You can pay for the job at a later date but the job will not go onto the site until payment has been made. If you have a job in your account that you have not paid for then it will display on the 'My jobs' page under the right panel in 'Summary of live jobs'.

Free Job
